Current Volunteer Opportunities:

ADULT BOARD GAME PROGRAM FACILITATOR - Tompkins Square Library

Saturday afternoon volunteer needed from 1:30pm to 3:30pm or 2pm to 4pm every Saturday to assist with teaching people to play various board games, (including jigsaw puzzles), to play games with attendees, to monitor the refreshment area (tea and snacks are available), and to ensure that things are running smoothly.  Must be reliable, friendly and easygoing. Please email volunteer@nypl.org if you are interested in volunteering for this position and able to make a weekly Saturday commitment. Must be age 18 or older. 

 

KNIT or CROCHET TUTOR - Tremont Library

Are you experienced at knitting or crocheting? Would you like to share your enthusiasm with others? Tremont Library would love to have a volunteer-led program twice a month on Thursdays from 2pm to 3pm.  (Other times are possible.)
