Join us at the city's most cerebral happy hour as the Library's new exhibition Love & Resistance: Stonewall 50 comes to life with a night of curator talks, a pre-publication sale of the exhibition's accompanying book of photographs, plus enjoy Drag Queen Story Hour, trivia with Eric Marcus, host of the Making Gay History podcast, the Trans Oral History Project, crafts, drinks, dancing and more! Love & Resistance: Stonewall 50
Discover the emergence of the LGBTQ civil rights movement throughout the 1960s and 70s through the photographs of Kay Tobin Lahusen and Diana Davies—pioneering photojournalists who captured the pivotal events of this era and change the ways LGBTQ people perceived themselves—alongside items from the Library’s vast archival holdings in LGBTQ history.
