Observing daily events and digesting everything that crosses her mind is how Bobbi Beck builds her art. Happenings she absorbs everyday around her gets churned into her next project. These complex artworks have been created and rendered in various techniques, such as drawing, painting, tapestry, mixed media  and sculpture. Her content is loaded with images that might make you pause, think, reflect and maybe even laugh a bit. She has been exhibiting her work at various NYPL locations throughout New York City over the past 10 years and has kept moving from one neighborhood library to another, sharing her ideas with locals in almost every area of the city. Exhibited here at The Mulberry Street Branch in SoHo are a series of drawings that would be of interest to New Yorkers of all ages. So pop into this former chocolate factory, converted to a unique multi-floor library, and  have a taste of Bobbi’s artworks.
