Event Description

Wakanda’s wisest woman takes center stage in Shuri, the new book by bestselling author Nic Stone!

Shuri book coverFor centuries, the Heart Shaped Herb has contributed to the prosperity of Wakanda. Its juices have given Black Panther his powers. Even T’Challa’s younger sister Shuri, a skilled martial artist, genius, and master of science and technology, has benefited from this mythical herb that only grows in Wakanda. But now the plants are no longer growing, and supply is running short. Will Shuri be able to save the herb—and her home?

Nic Stone's previous books include Dear Martin and Odd One Out. Hear her discuss her new book, Shuri: A Black Panther Novel #1, and get a chance to ask her questions about Shuri, her previous books, her inspirations, and more.
